From 2000 through 2009, Croatan Lodge continued its strong tradition of service, fellowship, and leadership within the East Carolina Council. The lodge saw a change in leadership, with Andrew Tee becoming Lodge Chief in 2000 and Ken Brown assuming advising duties. It sent Arrowmen to national OA programs like the Philmont OA Trail Crew, reflecting its ongoing commitment to outdoor leadership. At section conclaves (SR-7B), Croatan remained an active and competitive presence, even bringing home the Spirit Award in 2001. Financially, the lodge addressed burdens from previous events and invested in improvements such as workdays at their camps. Overall, the decade reinforced Croatan’s legacy of cheerful service, dedication to Scouting values, and engagement in national Order of the Arrow initiatives.
